Dancing on Ice has released behind-the-scenes footage of the cast's rehearsal accidents.

In a new Reel posted to the show's official Instagram account, this year's celebrities can be seen getting to grips with the slippery surface.

Captioned: "We think we like this little life x", the video gives fans a snapshot into the couples' intense training ahead of the live shows, with the celebs being put through their paces.

Love Island winner Amber Davies proved just how difficult training can be this week, when she posted a video of herself rehearsing the infamous headbanger move.

The Instagram Story saw the West End star wearing a helmet as she tried to master the scary move alongside professional partner Simon Sénécal, before slipping and falling.

"When I tell you the headbanger is HARD @dancingonice. Let's all pray it will be ready for Sunday night," she captioned the video.

Last Sunday (February 4), Amber achieved the highest score of the series so far, with the judges awarding her an impressive 34 points for her Cha Cha Cha-inspired skate to 'Sway' by Michael Bublé.

Last week also saw the return of the dreaded skate-off, in which Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney lost out to comedian Lou Sanders.

Following her elimination, Claire reflected on her time on the show and expressed gratitude for her professional skating partner, Colin Grafton.

"I'm really relieved [my son] Jaxon's in the audience and not in the kitchen watching me get eliminated, so I'm really pleased he's here. Thank you," she added.

Tonight (February 11) marks the show's Musicals week, with the nine remaining couples set to skate to songs from iconic stage shows. Shortly following their routines, two celebrities will be eliminated.

Musicals being celebrated in the show include Matilda, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Guys & Dolls, Six, Rock of Ages and Moulin Rouge.

Dancing on Ice airs on Sunday nights on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
