Danielle Harold is "very nervous" about taking part in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The 31-year-old actress - who left 'EastEnders' after 15 years earlier this year - has gone into "survival mode" and is simply focused on "getting through" the next few weeks, rather than thinking about potential romance or what she'll look like in camp.

She told MailOnline: "I’m very nervous. It’s the unknown I think. It’s different every year so I’m very anxious...

"I know I will not be doing the classic Myleene Klass shower picture - that won’t be me.

"I’ll probably be crouching on the floor of the shower because the water will be cold. That whole sexy shower image, that’s not me.

"I’m in full survival mode, me. I’m literally I’ve not going in thinking about glam looks or anything. I’m just thinking, survive - get through, breathe through it."

Danielle is planning to offer to clean the camp toilet because she is "scared" to get involved with cooking as she knows meals have often been the cause of tension in previous years.

She said: "I'm going to try and stay away from cooking. I'm scared to get involved in the cooking, I know it’s always a problem.

"I’m going to offer up myself to do the dunny so hopefully, I don’t have to cook. I feel like no one wants to do the dunny, so that will be my little job - I don’t want to go near the food I’ll be too scared."

And the actress hopes the show will let people get to know who she really is after so long playing Lola Pearce-Brown.

She said: "I’ve been playing Lola for 15 years now. A long time so it’s nice to do something that is me for a change.

"So nice to meet new people and hear new stories. I’m really excited I think maybe people don’t know what to expect, or who I am really.

"I’m very bubbly and chatty. I love chats and listening to people’s stories and asking questions, I love a question. So looking forward to getting in there and getting to know people."

When it comes to the Bushtucker Trials, there's already some challenges Danielle will find tough.

She explained: "I'm a bit claustrophobic. Small spaces I’m not very good at. Small spaces with bugs in - I’m not going to be great with those."
