Daredevil: Born Again and The Penguin filming paused amid writers’ strike
Daredevil: Born Again and The Penguin have pulled the plug on production while the Writers' Guild of America strikes.
Filming on two of next year's most anticipated shows – an MCU remodelling of Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Colin Farrell's very own spin-off from The Batman – is reportedly done until the strikes wrap up for good, according to Deadline.
Unfortunately, this could spell delays for both of their releases.

Born Again, which is also bringing back Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, has been regularly picketed by New York-based writers over the last couple of months, while it's believed that The Penguin received the same attention near its set.
Set just one week after the events of The Batman, The Penguin returns this year's Oscar-nominee Farrell to the Tony Soprano-esque role of Oswald Cobblepot, a Gotham City mobster ready to ascend the criminal ladder.
It will consist of eight episodes before leading into The Batman Part II.

Speaking to Variety back in January, the Irish actor discussed the inspiration behind the series.
"The only thing I had an idea was that I wasn't nearly getting to explore the character as much as I wanted to. Because there was all this extraordinary work done by [makeup artists] Mike Marino and Mike Fontaine and his team, and I just thought it was the tip of the iceberg, pardon the pun, that we were getting to do the six or seven scenes that we did in the film," he said.
"I was grateful for them, but I wanted more."
Daredevil: Born Again and The Penguin are both due to premiere next year.
