Davina McCall has been confirmed to temporarily replace Amanda Holden on her radio show.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda hosts Heart Breakfast on weekdays alongside Jamie Theakston – though will be taking a few weeks away this month due to filming commitments.

Big Brother icon Davina will step in between Monday, June 10 and Friday, June 21, with Amanda set to return on Monday, June 24.

“I’m so excited to be stepping in for Amanda to guest host Heart Breakfast," Davina said.

"I’ve known Jamie for forever so this isn’t going to be like work, more like a two week playdate! I love listening to Heart, on the train, at home, anywhere really! I can’t wait to get into the Heart studios and play all the best feel-good music for you all!”

The break is likely due to Amanda filming new Netflix show Cheaters: Unfinished Business, which focuses on eight former couples whose relationships broke down due to unfaithfulness, and are sent off to a retreat to confront each other.

There, they will see if the cheaters can admit to their mistakes and confront the hurt, and whether the cheated-on party can forgive and move on.

Speaking about the series in April, the BGT judge said: "Sometimes dreams really do come true. All my career I always wanted to host a show about love and relationships – and this is it!!

"A series about second chances and unfinished business! I can't wait, along with our expert, to meet and help these couples work out whether they can forgive and forget. I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of it!"

Britain's Got Talent airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
