Deadly Syria chemical attacks look like war crime - U.S. official

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A deadly chemical weapons attack in Syria blamed on President Bashar al-Assad appears to amount to a war crime, a senior U.S. State Department official said on Tuesday. "We're gathering facts ... and if it is what it looks like then it's clearly a war crime," said the official, who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity.
