Death in Paradise Ralf Little details set pranksBBC

Death in Paradise looks like it's a lot of fun to film, what with the sun-soaked location versus a cold British October, and Ralf Little has revealed that the cast like to make things even more fun by pranking each other.

In an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Little who was the biggest practical joker on set.

"Well, me and Tahj (Di Nero Miles, who plays Marlon Pryce) always have a little bit of back and forth," he said. "I actually have a little thing planned for him but I don't want to give it away. Hopefully I'm going to be playing a mean trick on him.

"But actually, I want to play a prank on Don Warrington (who plays Commissioner Selwyn Patterson), he's an absolute dude. I really want to play a prank on him.

"I feel like that will be really fun, that the guy who plays Neville plays a prank on the guy who plays the Commissioner. So I'll try that."

He hasn't got long to prank his TV boss, since filming is wrapping up soon. And as Little recently revealed, that means that the famous shack will actually be taken down until next year.

"It's not a permanent structure," he recently said. "We build it every year and then take it down again when it's finished. So if you do want to see it and see us here, you need to come to Guadeloupe between May to end of October sort of time. And it is hot, I have to warn you."

Death in Paradise and its spin-off, Beyond Paradise, air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer.
