Demi Moore and Joe Jonas Reportedly Got Very Flirty in Cannes

What happens in the south of France doesn't stay in the south of France.

The Demissance is getting a romantic twist: as Demi Moore (and her little dog Pilaf) conquered Cannes with both a movie premiere and hosting duties at the amfAR Gala, the actress is sparking dating rumors with newly single singer Joe Jonas. According to Page Six, the two were seen enjoying a sun-drenched lunch at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the seaside city. And while both of their faces were reportedly obscured by sunglasses as they dined together, blocking any chance of onlookers seeing flirty glances and come-hither stares, sources noted that the two have commenced a friendship. Of course, that could lead to more.

“Demi and Joe have struck up a friendship,” a source shared. “They have mutual friends and they bonded.” The Cut added that those mutual friends are Moore's stylist, Brad Goreski, and manager, Jason Weinberg.

A second source added another layer of intrigue, saying that the two are "already getting romantic."

Jonas and his ex, actress Sophie Turner, filed for divorce in September 2023. Since that high-profile breakup, which included a media maelstrom that involved child custody battles and Turner retreating to her pal Taylor Swift's pad in New York City, Jonas has been linked to actress Stormi Bree. That short-lived relationship lasted five months and insiders explained that Jonas is focusing on recording a solo album at the moment—unless someone special catches his eye.

“His romantic life has to take a backseat for now,” a source told Us Weekly. “If the right person comes along, he’ll definitely make time for them in his life.”

Moore has kept her romantic life out of the spotlight since her divorce from Ashton Kutcher in 2011.

Jonas may have caught Moore's eye at the amfAR Gala, where he performed alongside his brother, Nick.

"While Nick was scheduled to perform at the event, it was the addition [of] Joe for his band DNCE’s hit ‘Cake by the Ocean’ that got the crowd out of their seats," Page Six reported. Attendees noticed Moore dancing along to the earworm with Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh.

Currently, Joe is in Montenegro and Moore was last spotted in Vienna, Austria, at an appearance for Cartier.
