All the Details on Vanessa Hudgens' 'Sexy and Feminine' Vera Wang Wedding Dress
The 'High School Musical' alum wore an ivory gown paired with an embroidered veil that read “Mrs. T December 2nd, 2023” in Gothic font, according to 'Vogue'
Vanessa Hudgens turned up the glamour for her walk down the aisle!
The actress, 34, married baseball player Cole Tucker on Dec. 2, wearing a Vera Wang wedding dress she revealed in a new interview with Vogue. According to the publication, the light ivory, chartreuse bias-cut cowl neck slip dress was paired with a customized embroidered veil that read “Mrs. T December 2nd, 2023” in Gothic font. Her ceremony shoes were from Paris Texas.
“Vera’s been an amazing friend and supporter of mine,” Vanessa told Vogue. “I’ve always felt so confident and sexy and feminine whenever I’m in her clothes. And so, I was like ‘You know, that’s the vibe…that’s what I want to be feeling like for my wedding day. She also has such an amazing resume of women that she’s dressed for the most important day of their lives, and I was like, ‘Who better to do it than a friend?’”
When wedding dress shopping Hudgens explained that she wanted something "sleek, modern, and sexy."
The dress shape was inspired by ’90s supermodels and she explained that her stylist Jason Bolden traveled with her to the Vera Wang store in New York City. There, she tried on multiple dresses. But, in the end, she landed on the first one she put on.
“I put it on, and I was like ‘It’s perfect. It’s easy, it’s simple, and it’s chic,” she said. “It was exactly what I wanted, but we obviously had to spruce it up a little and add some extra love to it so that it was special, just for me. I wanted it to look like I was floating and loved the cape and veil combo.”
“When I saw the cape, I thought I might as well try that on as well,” she added. “I love the whole ethereal bohemian vibe—that will always be a part of me, but I didn’t want it to be the main thing.”

Ahead of the couple's nuptials, Hudgens wore an off-the-shoulder "Dean" dress by Galia Lahav for a welcome dinner that kicked off her and Tucker's celebratory wedding weekend.
The dress, featured in the brand's Darling collection, fit right in with Hudgens' romantic bohemian style with its flowy A-line silhouette, cut-out corset, cascading ribbons on the sleeves and sexy thigh-high slit.
All the details on the piece are available on Galia Lahav’s website, and the design is available for purchase at one of the couture label’s many boutiques around the world.
Hudgens actually paid a visit to the Los Angeles flagship store and, according to the brand, “fell in love” with the garment.
"It is an immense honor and joy to see Vanessa Hudgens choose one of our designs for such a significant moment in her life!” Sharon Sever, Galia Lahav’s head designer, tells PEOPLE. “The dress she chose was such a perfect choice for her beachy welcome party!"
A month before her wedding dress reveal, the High School Musical alum got into the bridal spirit a little early in honor of Halloween. She and a group of friends celebrated the spooky season in October with a fun "theme night," dressing up and posing for pics together inside an elevator.
In the photos posted on Instagram, Hudgens wore a lacy white wedding gown, accessorized with a star headpiece and a sheer veil and gloves, while the other women donned vampy black looks and funeral veils.
"Love a theme night. Can you guess what it was?" she wrote in the caption.
In a separate post, Hudgens shared three solo pics of herself that better showcased her veil, which was embroidered with the phrase "VH♥️CT," presumably for "Vanessa Hudgens loves Cole Tucker."
Hudgens and Tucker, who first sparked dating rumors in November 2020, announced their engagement in February. The pair met while participating in a group meditation on Zoom.
"I get on the Zoom, and I'm like, 'Who is that?' I found him, and we started talking,'" Hudgens recalled during a May 2021 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, joking that she's not shy about going after what she wants.
"If I want something or someone, I'm going after them. I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, 'Hey, it was nice to meet you,' " she said of 27-year-old Tucker, who plays in the minor league for the Albuquerque Isotopes. "So I think there is no shame in making the first move."

While Hudgens and Tucker have kept their relationship pretty private, the Tick… Tick… Boom! star occasionally shares photos of the pair on her Instagram. Back in July, she paid tribute to Tucker on his birthday, calling the athlete "my big man."
"He makes the world a better place," she wrote of her then-fiancé, alongside photos of the pair posing in a kitchen. "Brightens everyone’s day with his humor, compassion and that beautiful damn smile. Love you baby HAPPPEEEE BIRFFFFDAYY."
In a February 2021 interview during a spring training event in Florida, Tucker adorably bragged to reporters about "his cool girlfriend," telling them, "She's awesome. I love her."
