This week, Diana Ross, Jelly Roll, Big Sean, Jack White and more big-name acts will headline Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central, an all-star outdoor music event executive produced by Detroit native and rap icon Eminem.

Michigan Central unveiled the stacked lineup on Monday, June 3, with special scheduled performances from Common, Fantasia, the Clark Sisters, Kierra Sheard, Illa J, Melissa Etheridge, Theo Parrish, Slum Village and Sky Jetta, plus some “surprise special guests.”

The Detroit concert, also executive produced by Eminem’s longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, is billed as “a moment more than 35 years in the making” and expected to be “the greatest assemblage of all-star musical talent in Detroit since the legendary Motown Showcases,” per a press release. Music’s biggest stars will take the stage to celebrate the grand reopening of the once-abandoned Michigan Central Station following a six-year restoration by Ford Motor Company.

“We wanted to celebrate the reopening of Michigan Central Station in style and make it a night to remember for Detroiters and people watching around the world,” Bill Ford, executive chair of Ford, said in a statement. “I am honored and grateful that so many of Detroit’s musical legends, sports heroes, artists and innovators are joining us to celebrate the city we all love and the bright future we are creating together.”

The Michigan Central concert will “bring to life the spirit and soul of Detroit” with an impressive slate of musical performances, short films and appearances from local leaders and creators “telling stories of innovation and culture from around the city and the region.” In addition to performers, the star-studded Detroit program will also feature "cultural legends" and presenters like Mike Epps, Sophia Bush, Detroit Lions icon Barry Sanders and NFL stars Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The sold-out event will take place in person on Thursday, June 6, and will stream exclusively on Peacock the same day at 8:30 p.m. ET. NBC will also air a one-hour primetime special on Sunday, June 9, starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
