Disney+'s Santa Clause TV show teases new look at season 2 in first trailer
Disney+'s The Santa Clauses has given fans a proper first look at the second season – including an introduction to Eric Stonestreet's Mad Santa.
The Christmas series follows on from the Disney Santa Clause movie franchise, with Tim Allen returning as the titular festive icon as he tries to find a replacement while planning retirement.
However, season 2 will see his incarnation of Father Christmas come face-to-face with former version Magnus Antas, who took on the Santa mantle in the 14th century.

The trailer starts with Allen's character Scott Calvin lining-up his son Cal to be the next Santa, though trouble brews with the arrival of Antas, who declares himself the "rightful Santa" and calls Scott a "fraud".
"Revenge will be swift… and sweet. I am Santa after all," he later adds, claiming he was "wrongly exiled" from the North Pole.
The trailer comes ahead of the season premiere on November 8, with the episodes set to run until December 6.
As well as Modern Family's Stonestreet, the new season is set to welcome 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan and Coco's Gabriel Iglesias to the cast as the Easter bunny and Kris 'Kringle' Moreno, respectively.
The first season of The Santa Clauses made its debut last festive season, and a confirmation of a season 2 renewal followed not long afterwards.
“This franchise has had a lasting impact for so many families, truly becoming part of their annual holiday traditions," Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis said at the time.
“Bringing it back as a series has been a true gift, and I’m grateful to our producing partners at 20th Television and, of course, Tim Allen and team, that we have yet another reason to celebrate this holiday season."
The Santa Clauses season 2 will premiere on November 8 on Disney+.
