Disney's Wish gets Fresh rating as Rotten Tomatoes score is revealed
Disney's latest animation, Wish, has gained a fresh Rotten Tomatoes rating ahead of its release later this month.
The film – which is set to mark 100 years of the studio – follows Asha (Ariana DeBose), whose wishes are answered by a cosmic force called Star. Alongside her talking pet goat Valentino (Alan Tudyk), Asha and Star must confront the formidable ruler, King Magnifico (Chris Pine), to save her magical kingdom of Rosas.
The first reviews for Wish have made their way to the review aggregator site after its premiere on November 8. The film currently has a critics' score of 61% from 49 reviews (as of November 17).

While some critics have praised the film for its unique animation style and worthy tribute to Disney, others were left disappointed by its "recycled" moments.
Digital Spy branded the movie's "gorgeous hand-drawn animation" the biggest success, adding: "The plot's simplicity is a double-edged sword, as it sacrifices depth – and a certain adult edge we've come to expect from Disney's animation – in exchange for a painless concept and an Easter-Egg fest."
