Doctor Who confirms release date for Ncuti Gatwa's first full season as the 15th Doctor
Doctor Who's new series will premiere on Saturday, May 11 with the first two episodes.
It's been revealed that BBC iPlayer is launching the episodes at midnight before their traditional broadcast via BBC One later in the day in the lead-up to the Eurovision final.
Whovians outside of the UK can catch these episodes at the exact same time over on Disney+, in a simultaneous global premiere.

The brand-new season marks the full-time entrance of Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor following his debut in the 2023 Christmas special. The Doctor will be joined by companion Ruby Sunday (played by Coronation Street actress Millie Gibson) as they blast off into the cosmos in the TARDIS.
An official teaser for the series reads: "Audiences will see the Doctor and Ruby travel through time and space on adventures to unknown lands, to the Regency era in England, to outer space worlds and the sixties.
"This season will also see the return of Michelle Greenidge as Carla Sunday, Angela Wynter as Cherry Sunday and Anita Dobson as Mrs Flood as well as featuring an array of special guest stars including Jinkx Monsoon, Aneurin Barnard, Yasmin Finney, Jonathan Groff, Bonnie Langford, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush and Indira Varma."

Doctor Who's showrunner Russell T Davies said: "At last, it's my great delight to unleash a whole new season of the Doctor and Ruby's adventures together.

Doctor Who will return for its new series on Saturday May 11, airing on BBC One in the UK and Disney+ elsewhere. Classic episodes of Doctor Who are available on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
