Donna Kelce is taking a walk down memory lane.

As she prepares to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas this Sunday, Donna is revealing some little-known fun facts about her sons, Jason and Travis Kelce — including how much they loved their childhood cat!

Donna tells PEOPLE, "We had a cat growing up. It was fun with Flash."

Beyond being a beloved member of the Kelce family back in the day, Flash was the perfect cat for two future NFL stars in Jason, 36, and Travis, 34.

"They loved Flash because Flash was an athlete. Let me tell you, that cat was amazing," Donna adds.

These days, the Kelce family doesn't include any cats, but Donna says that may change for Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce.

In December, Kylie, 31, said she told Jason she wanted to get a cat during her appearance on a bonus episode of the podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

"No, here's the deal, I told Jason that I want to get a cat," Kylie said on the episode before telling Travis, "And he told me no. And I feel like you might like cats now."

Kylie was likely hinting at Travis' relationship with Taylor Swift, who is a proud cat mom, as possibly swaying his opinion. The singer-songwriter's pet family includes three felines — Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button — whom she openly adores.

Donna tells PEOPLE she thinks Jason and Kylie's decision to get a cat may have been deferred until after the Super Bowl. "I don't know what's going to transpire with the cat because they've been gone. They've been traveling, going to playoff games for Travis," she says.

"So I have a feeling that probably wasn't the best time and we'll see what happens in the future on that note," she adds.

And as Ziploc's new Chief Leftovers Officer, Donna recalls another memory from raising her sons: leftovers-related feuds.

"My boys, they ate so much that there weren't a lot of leftovers, but many times, especially on the weekends, I'd make enough food for three, four, five days," says Donna, "But the problem was I'd put them in Ziplocs and they'd come back for seconds and thirds in the same night, so it was hard to keep the leftovers around, but I tried to cut down on some fights by putting their names on Ziplocs or portioning the leftovers out."

The leftovers most likely to force Jason and Travis into duking it out as kids, according to Donna, was "probably the rigatoni," she says. "They just love that."

These days, Donna predicts the NFL stars keep their fridges full of balanced options. "I'm guessing it's probably pizzas, and they do have vegetables because they eat pretty well during the season, and I know that they portion things out and try to make things last."

Donna continues, "And there are, obviously, people cooking for them, so whether it's a wife or whether it's a cook, they have a lot in Ziploc bags because you can see it quickly in the refrigerator and you can use it immediately instead of having to search through the whole refrigerator for stuff."

Beyond convenience, Donna says she's excited to be the brand's Chief Leftovers Officer to raise awareness around waste.

"I think it's important for guests and also for hosts to bring their own Ziploc bags because there's so much waste right now with food. There were 18 million pounds of it after big game watch parties last year, so that's kind of crazy. Can you imagine 290 football fields of pizza that's thrown away after a party like that?"

And Donna has a unique tip for anyone going to the big game – Ziploc bags are clear, making them stadium-approved! "If you forget your clear bag going to any stadium, throw your things in a Ziploc gallon bag because you're allowed to take this in. Sometimes people forget it or they haven't bought one yet because maybe it's only the first time they've ever been to a stadium. So that's a little trick that we use."
