The regional qualifiers for The International 11 (TI11), this year's iteration of Dota 2's annual multimillion-dollar world championship tournament, are now underway.

From 3 to 17 September, teams from all across the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) will be fighting to be among the 30 teams flying to Singapore to join the battle for the Aegis of Champions.

With 12 teams already directly invited to TI11, 28 spots are up for grabs in the regional qualifiers. The winners of the six regional qualifiers will advance directly to the Group Stage while the second and third-placed teams from each qualifier will start in the new Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ).

Read on for everything you need to know about the TI11 regional qualifiers:

The TI11 Regional Qualifiers will be held from 3 to 17 September across the DPC's six regions: Western Europe, China, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, North America, and South America. The qualifiers will be played in three batches, with two regions playing in each batch.

The first batch of qualifiers from 3 to 7 September will feature Eastern Europe and South America. The second batch featuring China and North America will then take place from 8 to 12 September.

Finally, the last batch of qualifiers for Western Europe and Southeast Asia will be held from 13 to 17 September.

The qualifiers will follow a double-elimination format featuring best-of-three matches except for the grand finals, which will be a best-of-five series.
