RuPaul's Drag Race star Kameron Michaels has teased a possible return to All Stars five years after she finished runner-up on season 10.

Known as the “Bodybuilder Barbie”, the queen garnered a strong fanbase from the show and has been busy since. She now works in Las Vegas and has been involved in further series of the show, including a fierce return to All Stars 6 as a lip sync battle assassin.

“I’ve said yes [to All Stars], then I’ve said no, then I've said yes again,” Michaels said in an interview with Out Traveler. “Do I think that I am ready? Yeah, absolutely. It's been five years now.”

Right now, Michaels is focused on delivering a big show in Vegas at AFAN's (Aids for Aids of Nevada) annual Black & White Party on October 22.

AFAN is the largest and oldest AIDS service organisation in Nevada and Michaels hopes to be part of helping to “reduce the stigma” surrounding HIV/AIDS. “It’s really important to stay knowledgeable and check up on ourselves,” she said.

But Michaels is also very excited. “I am having brand new outfits made just solely for this event. A girl always loves to have new costumes made,” she added.

Thinking back to her time on Drag Race, Michaels said: “I had zero confidence on that show. Asia and I are the only ones that haven’t been back yet.”

Asia O’Hara featured on season 10 alongside Michaels, and finished fourth after a painful finale for the star, which became known as "ButterflyGate".

Returning together seems more tempting for Michaels. “If we ever go back, maybe you’ll see us on there together,” she teased. “If they paired Asia and I up together, it would be a force to be reckoned with.”

For now, there's a lot more fabulous drama soon to come with All Stars 8 and Drag Race España: All Stars both out in 2023.

Organisations including amFAR, Terrence Higgins Trust and the National Aids Trust (NAT) can provide further information on research, testing and treatment for both HIV and AIDS.

Drag Race España airs on WOW Presents Plus in the UK. Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World airs on BBC Three in the UK and WOW Presents Plus in the US on November 18. RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
