Drew Barrymore is letting her audience in on a pet peeve of hers.

Barrymore, 48, hosted Martha Stewart on Friday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show and took a moment to ask Stewart, 82, whether she has an opinion on napping during the daytime while a dog slept on her guest's lap.

"I've said that I have a very strong opinion about them," Barrymore noted, after having shared last month on the program that the act "pisses me off."

When Stewart asked why Barrymore is opposed to the act, the talk show host and actor shared that her frustration stems from a previous relationship with a man who she felt napped too often.

"I just — I had a relationship with a guy who just napped all the time. It made me sick to my stomach," she shared. "Yeah, it just always — he was so tired all the time and had to nap all the time. It's really about him."

While Barrymore did not specify who the other person in the nap-filled relationship was, she may have let on more than she wanted to when she asked Stewart if she would "date a man who didn't work and naps all the time?"

"Did I say that out loud?" she said, after Stewart asked for clarification on her "didn't work" comment. Stewart, meanwhile, shared that she is fond of "a cat nap in the car."

"A nap when you’re tired is good catch-up," Stewart said, explaining that she would date a daytime sleeper, "If he were the most fabulous handsome man and in the world and I was madly in love with him and he wanted to take a nap every now and then that’s fine with me."

When Barrymore previously addressed her hatred for naps on the show last month, she told her co-host Ross Mathews, "If you want, like, the unsexiest thing, take a nap,"

"I'm thinking 'that's unproductive daytime craziness.' I think it's bananas," she said, when Mathews asked why she does not like napping. "I've never been able to nap in my life. Why do I feel this way, you guys? Why do I find napping so unsexy and unappealing. I must have dated a napper in a last lifetime and I'm still resentful or something."

Barrymore is a single mother — she shares daughters Olive, 11, and Frankie, 9, with her ex-husband Will Kopelman, whom she divorced in 2016.

Roughly one year ago, the 50 First Dates star shared that she started dating again for the first time in years, and she recently admitted on her show that Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce inspired her to stop overthinking dating.

“I don't know, it was so calm and confident and normal,” she said of how Swift went public with her current relationship. “That it just made me think I should do this too and I thank her for that.”
