Drew Barrymore has a new ‘do!
On Monday, the daytime television host, 48, went from flirty waves to a voluminous blowout thanks to hairstylist to the stars, Chris Appleton.
The Charlie’s Angels alum invited Appleton, 40, and Riverdale actress Camila Mendes for a makeover segment on The Drew Barrymore Show.
After a brief introduction of her guests, the host said that she had “some fun questions” that were tucked away in “fabulous old velcro curlers.”
Just before the makeover started, Barrymore began taking out her hair extensions during the live broadcast as she asked Appleton what his plans were for ladies. “I think I’m gonna do you both,” the U.K.-born stylist said regarding their makeovers.

“While you dismantle whatever’s — I’m interested to see what comes out of that,” Appleton told Barrymore while making his way over to start on Mendes, 29.
“A lot,” the host quipped while removing her hair pieces.
As Appleton began styling the Upgraded actress for a simple “day-to-night” look, she grabbed a bright yellow roller and removed a sheet of paper from the inside.
Complementing Mendes’ cheekbones and face, Appleton said the style he chose for her would show off her features. Before reading her question in front of the studio audience, she revealed she loves the “playfulness” of having a few pieces of hair hanging in front of her face.
“Would you rather your date be 15 minutes early? Or 15 minutes late?” Mendes’ first question read.
“Fifteen minutes late, because I’m usually running 15 minutes late, so then I won’t feel as guilty when he shows up," Mendes replied after a brief pause from all three.

Barrymore joined in, saying that the date might be “disgruntled” if they showed up 15 minutes early, and still had to wait an additional 15 minutes.
Appleton cut in with his “cute and simple” style, adding a black bow to Mendes’s half up, hair down look before moving on to the Never Been Kissed star.
He referred to Barrymore as “Mrs. Hairstyle” who is “always on the mood board” when it comes to his inspiration while showing off a rather large hairpiece that he planned on adding to her tresses.
As the ladies discussed their 5-minute go-to makeup look, Appleton worked on Barrymore’s mane.
Blending a bouffant hairpiece seamlessly into her reddish-brown locks, Appleton parted Barrymore’s real hair down the middle in the front, giving the 50 First Dates alum a bow of her own.
“Big hair’s back and if anyone can do big hair, it’s you,” the stylist told her.
“I like big hair, and I cannot lie,” Barrymore said, loosely quoting Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.”
Appleton added that he did a similar look for Jennifer Lopez in Paris that everyone “seemed to really enjoy.”
“And if it’s good enough for J. Lo... I love this!” Barrymore said.
