Drew Barrymore swoons after kissing Matt Bomer on talk show: 'This is the only action I get!'

“I’ll just be in my single, celibate phase and just keep on fantasizing."

Drew Barrymore was truly living her best life on Wednesday’s episode of her talk show when she exchanged a surprise kiss with Fellow Travelers star Matt Bomer and then promptly melted in her chair.

Barrymore and Bomer's quick smooch came after she complimented the actor, who is married to husband Simon Halls, on his performance in the Showtime series and his good looks.

“Matt, you’re so hot. I can’t believe I’m actually sitting next to you,” she exclaimed at the top of the show. “In fact, by the way, I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I never meet a straight man I’m attracted to, I only am attracted to gay men. What’s wrong with me?”

“You’ve got good taste!” Bomer replied, to which Barrymore simply responded, “But it’s like I’m barking up the wrong tree!”

“Well, we love you,” he maintained. “I love you enough for all of us.”

Barrymore then revealed that the pair actually share an unexpected connection. “I’m proud to say that we actually kissed the same man,” she said, “Who’s also gay. Andrew Rannells.”

The revelation sparked a sudden idea for Bomer. “I think we should round it out,” he said. “The great Andrew Rannells. We have to close the circle.”

The pair then exchanged a short kiss as the crowd — including Bomer’s costar Jonathan Bailey — cheered and applauded. Visibly smitten, Barrymore then melted into her seat out of sheer happiness, with Bomer following her lead and collapsing into his chair soon afterward.

“This is the only action I get!” Barrymore exclaimed as she sat back up. “I’ll just be in my single, celibate phase and just keep on fantasizing and come to work where I get the best life I’ve ever lived.”

Bailey also got his fair share of love from Barrymore, who told him that his Bridgerton scenes “have made me blush more in the last few years than I can handle.”

“You’re so hot and I don’t understand how you’re so commanding and alpha and make me feel, as a woman, like, ‘Whatever you say!’” She recalled. “And then you are this beautiful gay man in this intimate relationship making me sob in my bed over, you know, if we all are so lucky to have love in this life, and I have cried so much in this show.”
