Dua Lipa's Designer Micro Shorts Are So Short They're Practically Underwear

And they came with the tiniest Gucci belt.

Dua Lipa isn't a stranger to a short short or pantless look (see: crochet boyshorts and preppy-no-pants), but now, Lipa is giving the trend a high fashion makeover.

On Monday, the pop star sat front row at the Gucci Cruise 2025 show in London in a pair of teeny-tiny hot pants that were barely visible under her a black leather logo-embossed utility jacket with a popped collar and large pockets. The shorts, which she layered over sheer black tights, were so short they could've passed for underwear and had a micro double-G Gucci belt. She paired the mostly-black outfit with matching monster platform loafers and a ribbed white tank.

A black horse-bit handbag, silver chain necklace, and a smattering of silver rings were the finishing touches, and she styled her deep red hair in a middle part and tousled waves. Her effortless glam consisted of feathered lashes, perfectly arched brows, rosy cheeks, and a mauve lip.

The singer, whose new album Radical Optimism dropped earlier this month, didn't go stag to the event. No, she didn't bring her new boyfriend, Callum Turner, but rather her younger sister, Rina Lipa (because sisters make the best dates), as well as her parents, Anesa and Dukagjin. Rina also opted for a version of the no-pants look in an oversized marigold rugby shirt with buttons and a collar. She added brown riding boots and a red half-moon-shaped purse.

Between promoting her new music and attending all of fashion's biggest events, Lipa has been booked and busy. Just last week, the songwriter was in New York City at the 2024 Met Gala, for which she wore a lace and fishnet look with a massive feather boa. Before that, Lipa hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live. She also brought along her parents for that appearance and even gave them a hilarious shoutout during her monologue.
