Bad Bunny got a special 30th birthday shout out from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at the 2024 Oscars.

The Puerto Rican singer and 51-year-old actor got together onstage Sunday at the 96th annual Academy Awards at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre to present the award for Best International Feature Film.

Before naming British film The Zone of Interest as the winner, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, and Johnson spoke about the impact films have had on the world.

"Cinema is a universal language that speaks to the common threads that bind us together,” Bad Bunny said in Spanish, right after the pair walked out to the instrumental beginning of his hit song "Monaco.”

“Beautifully said,” Johnson remarked. “You see, he’s not such a bad bunny. Happy Birthday, brother.”

“Gracias. Thank you,” Bad Bunny responded.

"International films have enriched our cultural understanding by broadening our perspectives of the world and each other," Johnson concluded.

Bad Bunny marked his 30th birthday on March 10. “Trienta,” the singer wrote in an Instagram caption earlier that day under a photo of himself holding what appeared to be a glass of beer. He is currently on his Most Wanted Tour to promote his fifth studio album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, but took a stop to present on cinema's biggest night.

Johnson, who was PEOPLE’s 2016 Sexiest Man Alive, also has exciting things in store. He recently announced his return for Moana 2, the animated sequel to the 2016 hit Moana, and debuted men’s grooming line Papatui on Sunday.
