Dwyane Wade was in for a surprise at a recent basketball game with his family.

On Saturday, May 25, the former professional basketball payer, 42, attended a WNBA game between the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun at Wintrust Arena in Chicago with his wife Gabrielle Union, 51, and their daughter Kaavia, 5.

Wade shared a selection of photos from the outing on his Instagram, where he poked fun at the misspelling of his name on the jumbotron.

"Hardly home but always repping #SkyTown #DeWayneWade," he captioned the post.

Throughout the slideshow, Wade – rocking a white "girl dad" cap – smiles with his family as a jumbotron incorrectly spells his name "DeWayne Wade" while listing him as part of the Chicago Sky Ownership Group, which he joined in 2023.

The basketball player praised Zaya for her advocacy, saying, "She didn't ask for this extra excitement in life. She just wanted to be a kid and do kid things and live her life and be selfish and worry about herself. That's what you're supposed to do at her age, worry about you. But she's thinking about a larger community, and so I'm damn proud of her as a father."
