Earthquake shakes buildings in Mexico City

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 struck northwest of Oaxaca, Mexico, early on Saturday, at a depth of 38 km, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The USGS initially reported the quake, at 0824 GMT, at magnitude 5.7. The quake shook buildings in the capital, Mexico City, 330 km (200 miles) to the northwest, a Reuters witness said.
