EastEnders revealed more danger for Stacey Slater in her stalking storyline.

Stacey has been subjected to a traumatising ordeal by the obsessive Theo Hawthorne, who has wormed his way into her life by anonymously paying her for private sessions on an OnlyFans-style app and tutoring her young daughter, Lily.

Stacey is yet to discover Theo's nefarious ways, and confided to Eve in tonight's (July 27) episode that she had struggled to sleep as a result of the latest stalking incident.

Adamant that she hadn't let any of her personal information slip, she began to assume that somebody close to her had "blabbed". She abruptly asked Harvey and her mother if they let slip, but they denied it.

She frantically asked Martin who he had told, with her partner informing her that Zack is the only one he told. Eve later advised Stacey to let Martin know of the ordeal, but she insisted it should remain a secret before leaving work early.

Upon returning home, Stacey bellowed at a man lingering outside her house with a bouquet of flowers, but realised he was merely a delivery man. Left perplexed at how her address was found, Stacey threw the flowers on the floor before getting to work.

After finding out that the sender had paid in cash, she interrupted Lily's session with Theo and told him to leave, with the tutor seeing the wrecked flowers on the pavement as he departed.

After hearing of the latest incident, Eve recommended that Stacey either inform the police or Jack, but she was reluctant to take either path as she wanted to take matters into her own hands.

Eve went to Jack anyway as she sought advice on the matter; unbeknownst to her, Theo was in the corner listening intently to every word she said, and was ready to instigate the next stage of his plan.

After having a quick word with Jack, Theo sent a text to Stacey which read: "I'm watching you", but scheduled it for a later time. As he knocked on her door under the guise of dropping Lily's homework off, she received the ominous text and ushered him inside.

With suspicion being diverted elsewhere, just how will Theo's schemes be exposed?

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
