EastEnders' Brian Conley reveals he gets co-stars' names confused on set
EastEnders star Brian Conley has revealed that he gets his co-stars' names confused on set.
Starring as Rocky Cotton on the soap, Conley said that he often mixes up his co-stars' character names and real-life names.
Speaking to The Daily Star about Rocky's wedding to Kathy Beale, Conley said: "Is it Kathy or is it Gillian? That's the problem as well you've gotta know both their names.
"That is tough, it takes you years to learn," Conley said, detailing the difficulties he faced when learning his colleagues' names as well as their on-screen names.

According to Conley, the person he struggles with the most is Billy Mitchell actor Perry Fenwick, sometimes calling him by his real name during filming.
"With Billy, his character Billy, his real name is Perry, I'm always saying Perry. 'Y'aright Perry, I mean Billy.'"
As well as getting his co-stars' names mixed up, Conley admitted that he sometimes finds it difficult to remember his lines on the soap.
"You do get lost in it. I've had two months full on and that's what I find exciting and the thing that really scared me initially is the amount you had to learn. You had to learn reams and reams and it comes in waves," said Conley.

"I knew there was a big wave coming up and my wife and kids ask me to watch a film and I say, 'No, I've gotta look at this,'" he added of learning his lines. "It takes over your world for a short time but I'm getting better."
Talking of filming, Conley said he recently had to take a break during a scene after Jack Branning actor Scott Maslen made him laugh. He added that his co-star Max Bowden, who plays Ben Mitchell, "is so funny he has me in fits".
