EastEnders' Denise Fox story gets Kim Woodburn response in prank

EastEnders' Denise Fox storyline has become the set-up for another prank on Kim Woodburn.

In case you've not been keeping up to speed with the BBC soap, Denise's precious 'D' necklace was recently lost next to Keanu Taylor's dead body when The Six secretly buried his remains at the café site.

This week, X user @OricorioWho paid for a personal message from How Clean is Your House? presenter Woodburn, posing as someone called Amy while using Denise's on-screen predicament as bait.

In a video filmed at her home, Woodburn said to the camera: "Hello Denise, how are you my love? I've heard from your stepdaughter, Amy, and she tells me you've lost your beloved necklace and you've been utterly mortified about it.

"We do get fond of bits of jewellery, I've got my favourites, I know how you feel. Although your husband bought you another one, it just wasn't the same - well, he tried, didn't he dear, you know.

"But I also hear you have started reading the Bible... Okay, if you feel that helps why not my darling, you've got my blessing. And you have been visiting your ex, who is in prison. Amy says you are so down," she continued.

Then came a sage piece of advice from the TV star, concluding: "You've lost this necklace you treasured, but you know what my lovely, I'm gonna say something to you truthfully and please don't get hurt... yes, I've got favourite pieces of jewellery, yes if I lost them I'd be very upset, but after a few months it's just a piece of jewellery darling.

"People are more important, my lovely."

Amazingly, actress Diane Parish, who plays Denise, later got wind of the joke and reposted it on Instagram with the caption: "Ha! Love this @kimwoodburn Love you doll".

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
