EastEnders fans predict huge twist over Gina Knight's mystery boyfriend

EastEnders fans believe they've cracked the code over who Gina Knight's mystery boyfriend is.
Earlier this week, Gina returned home from a trip to Marbella where she had discovered that the man she'd been seeing had moved on with someone else.
Following the revelation, fans began theorising that Gina's ex in Spain could be a familiar character, with the number one suspect being none other than Dean Wicks (played by Matt Di Angelo).

Dean, the son of Shirley Carter, was last seen on Albert Square in 2016 after he evaded justice for raping Linda Carter and the attempted rape of Roxy Mitchell.
However, earlier in the year, the character was mentioned again when Linda saw a photo of Shirley on social media with Dean in the background.
On Twitter, viewers predicted Dean could be Gina's ex, which would bring him back to Albert Square in time for the soap's Christmas murder mystery.

One viewer wrote: "Imagine if Gina's ex is Dean Wicks. That could be what triggers his return to Walford bringing him into the 6 story."
Another viewer added: "Gina’s ex-boyfriend is going to be Dean Wicks and the girl he’s with is going to be Sam Mitchell. I just know it."

Meanwhile, EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw has confirmed that more classic characters are set to return to the soap.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Clenshaw said: "There will be some characters returning in the not-too-distant future. They will be announced soon.
"Watch this space. We have got some new characters coming that are arriving soon."
