EastEnders hints at reunion for Chelsea and Ravi

EastEnders has hinted at a reunion for Chelsea Fox and Ravi Gulati.

Scenes last month saw Ravi's affair with Denise exposed, which made Chelsea realise that she was being manipulated by him in order to keep the affair with her mum a secret.

However, it seems that there is a chance that the pair could reconnect in new scenes set to air on the BBC soap next week.

In his attempts to win Chelsea back, Ravi tries to become friends with Finlay and Felix by dishing out some business advice.

Whitney manages to convince Chelsea that she should sort things out with Finlay, Felix and Zack, and they all take part in the pub quiz. Chelsea then gets distracted after spotting Ravi drinking alone.

Chelsea and Denise later put aside their recent falling-out for the sake of Lola at her racing day celebrations.

Speaking previously about Ravi's manipulative ways, Denise actress Diane Parish said: "I think she always knew that Chelsea was going to fall for him because she knows Chelsea's type.

"She knows that Chelsea is very much like her in the sense that there is a magnetic draw and pull towards somebody who is slightly dangerous, somebody who poses a dangerous element and the excitement in that."

The star added: "Ravi is a malignant narcissist and he's very good at seduction at the beginning – reeling you in, showering you with love, affection, romance and doing all these gestures for it to all go wrong later on."

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.

China anchors 'monster ship' in South China Sea, Philippine coast guard says
