EastEnders' Jade Masood to be left humiliated by Dean's behaviour

EastEnders spoilers follow.

Jade Masood will be left humiliated by Dean Wicks' behaviour in upcoming episodes of EastEnders.

Fans of the soap will know that Dean and Shabnam Masood's daughter Jade returned to Albert Square in December.

Following the revelation that she was unwell and in need of a life-saving lung transplant, Jade decided to give her absent father another chance.

Jade briefly left the Square again after Linda Carter told her that her father, who assaulted and then blackmailed Linda, is a sexual predator.

In scenes set to air next week, Dean is worried when he finds out that Jade has been walking around the Square in the cold as he's concerned about her health.

When Jean encourages Nugget and Avani to become friends with Jade, they do. Later, Dean arrives home to find Jade entertaining her new friends. Jade tells Dean she wants to hang out with Nugget and Avani, but her dad says no, as he doesn't want her to be out in the cold.

Ignoring Dean's rules, Jade defies him and Dean later finds her hanging out in McKlunky's with her new mates. Jade is mortified when Dean is strict with her in front of her friends, and Avani teases her over it.

Jade isn't the only person to return to the square, with Linda's son Johnny Carter making his return last week determined to get revenge on Dean for how he treated his mother.

Speaking about his character's return to Walford, Charlie Suff, who has taken over the role of Johnny, said: "In the past, Johnny's been protected by his parents, being the youngest of the siblings until Ollie was born, but now he's been out in the world on his own, he's become himself a bit more and had to deal with things that have happened to Linda since he's been away."

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
