EastEnders lines up new violent outburst for Ben

EastEnders' Ben Mitchell violently lashes out next week as he continues to struggle following recent traumas.
The BBC show revisited Ben's rape storyline in recent weeks when he was informed by the police that evil Lewis has been arrested for rape again.
The news hit Ben hard, as he was frustrated to learn that Lewis was free to commit the same crime despite Ben's efforts to bring Lewis to justice last year.

Ben is also struggling with the illness of Lola Pearce-Brown, who's the mum of his daughter Lexi. A new storyline will see him support Lola by taking on some of Jay's workload.
As Kathy prepares for her Eurovision-themed birthday party, she can't help but notice that Ben is exhausted.
Despite Callum's pleas to Ben to slow things down and take some time out, Ben refuses to listen and tries to distract himself by working overtime so that he can support Jay and Lola financially.

Despite being in terrible pain, Lola continues to throw herself into work. However, after a gruelling day, she's forced to accept she needs to stop and tells Ben and Jay.
With Lola no longer fit to work, Ben realises that money will be even tighter for the couple and decides to do even more overtime to cover their costs.
Later, Ben exhausts himself trying to finish work in time for Kathy's birthday. When Jay drops by to explain that Ben will have to take Lexi as Lola is too tired to go, Ben agrees.
Alone, the mounting pressure to support his friends and the reminder of his rape ordeal get too much for him, and Ben breaks down.

Ben's day goes from bad to worse when he shows up to the party and realises he's forgotten to pick up Lexi.
After getting it in the neck from Jay and Lola, Ben turns to drink. Having knocked back several drinks, Ben gets confrontational and picks a fight with Vinny Panesar.
Just as Ben and Vinny are about to come to blows, they are interrupted by Lola who screams at Ben to stop. As his family and friends look on, Ben is horrified to realise he's lost his temper and taken things too far.
Last week, EastEnders confirmed plans to explore an eating disorder storyline for Ben in the coming months.
