EastEnders star Emma Barton pays tribute to on-screen partner on his birthday
EastEnders actress Emma Barton has paid tribute to co-star Perry Fenwick in a heartfelt Instagram post to commemorate his birthday.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who plays Perry's on-screen partner in the soap, shared a photo of the two smiling together in front of a Christmas tree.
"Happiest of Birthdays to this wonderful Human.. I adore the bones of ya!!!!! Love you Pel," read Emma's caption, alongside several heart and birthday themed emojis.

Fans were quick to wish Perry many happy returns for the special day in the post's comments section. "Happy birthday and what a fantastic photo," wrote one Instagram user, whilst another added: "Happy birthday Perry your acting and humour is spot on and amazing have fun and enjoy your birthday."
Some clued up Eastenders fans were also quick to point out that Perry shares the same birthday as co-star Danielle Harold, who plays Emma and Perry's on-screen granddaughter Lola.
"Aww Danielle and Perry share a birthday," one of Emma's Instagram followers commented.

The two birthdays coincide with a particularly emotional week in Albert Square, as Billy, Honey and the rest of Albert Square prepare to say goodbye to Lola Pearce-Brown, who loses her battle with an incurable brain tumour.
Lola was recently told that she has only weeks to live, after learning that her palliative chemotherapy treatment hasn't had the desired effect. Scenes of her tragic death are set to air this week and will certainly rock the residents of Walford.

In Emma's birthday Instagram post to Perry, some followers applauded the EastEnders star's acting throughout the difficult storyline.
"Happy Birthday Perry and superb performances by you both on last night's 'Eastenders'. Emma, your work with Steve in that scene with Honey&Phil. And Perry just outstanding the whole episode," commented one fan.
Another wrote: "Happy Birthday Pel….. wishing you a wonderful day…. Lots of love from Pen and Dave. Your acting in last night’s episode was superb!"
