EastEnders star Lacey Turner hints at ending to Theo stalker plot

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders star Lacey Turner has hinted that her character's stalker plot involving Theo Hawthorne could be coming to an end soon.

Earlier this month, Stacey Slater discovered that her stalker was Theo. He has since moved in next door to the Slater household, with police saying there is nothing they can do.

But in an interview with Radio Times, Turner hinted that Stacey isn't willing to take it lying down.

"There’s a turning point coming up where [Stacey] finds fire in her belly to be angry and decides she is not going to be a victim,” she teased.

Turner added that her character "has no regrets about the camera work" – but that she is now "absolutely raging" with Theo.

“She did what she had to do to keep her family afloat, but is absolutely raging with Theo at this point and in her mind she is going to take him down!

"So you think Theo is gone, then he appears again and we kind of replay a story we’ve already done which ends slightly differently, and with a few more people involved. Hopefully, this is the end of Theo Hawthorne!”

Before that, however, Stacey is set to face a further setback.

In scenes set to air next week, Billy Mitchell receives some raunchy pictures from 'Stacey', though Martin soon realises that Theo is actually behind it.

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
