Egypt's Sisi to meet Trump advisor Jared Kushner on Wednesday

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will meet on Wednesday with a United States delegation led by President Donald Trump's close advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner, Sisi's spokesman said. A scheduled meeting between Kushner and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry was cancelled immediately following a ministry statement criticising a U.S. decision to withhold millions of dollars in aid to Egypt. It was not clear if meeting with Sisi was previously scheduled or arranged after Kushner's his meeting with Shoukry was cancelled. (Reporting by Ahmed Aboulenein; editing by John Stonestreet)
