Ellen Chan denies undergoing IVF
18 Oct – 47-year-old actress Ellen Chan recently denied speculations that she has been trying to conceive through in vitro fertilisation (IVF).
HK Channel website reported that previously, it was rumoured that the Hong Kong actress has been eager to settle down with 39-year-old Johnson Lee, whom she was reportedly dating.
Upon hearing that Johnson has broken up with his girlfriend Lukian Wong, Ellen wasted no time and decided to try IVF in order to tie the actor down as well as fulfil her wish to become a mother.
Sources alleged, "After seeking the advice of her friend Mak Ling Ling, who is also a renowned feng shui master, Ellen has been routinely consuming Chinese herbs and consulting Western medicine practitioners."
The source also stated that Ellen has already completed the process and is merely waiting for the results.
However, Ellen recently dismissed such rumours, saying that while she desires to become a mother, she did not go for IVF as reported.
"There is no such thing," said the actress. "I went to the hospital frequently because I was sick, and also because my grandfather is the head of the pathology department."
Nonetheless, Ellen admitted that she has been seeing Johnson Lee frequently, but added that they are only good friends.
