Paramunt Global is backing a new travel experience that will unlock access to the location of one of their most popular shows.
Paramount has greenlit a travel experience hosted by DHARMA, which identifies itself as the ‘official travel brand of Netflix’s Emily in Paris’. Their aim is to share carefully curated trips that promise immersive experiences inspired by fashion, lifestyle and romance.
While visitors won’t necessarily visit the exact set and locations of Emily in Paris, organizers promise that the trip will conjure the very essence of Emily in Paris.
Hosted by MTV influencer, Ines Tazi, fans of the popular Netflix series can enjoy a five-day trip packed with cocktail-making sessions and visits to designer fashion studios.
Costing £2,907 for the short Paris getaway named ‘Paris by Emily’, visitors are promised a taste of the fashionable adventures that the Netflix show highlighted.
Fans will stay in a 19th-century townhouse in Paris’ Latin Quarter and enjoy pain au chocolat baking classes and even a masterclass in flirting.
As part of the itinerary, there’s also an optional 2-5 mile morning run through the streets of Paris just like Emily would do.
Speaking about the news, Marie Marks, SVP of Themed Experiences at Paramount said: “We are very excited about our new partnership with DHARMA, to create a bold and unique, curated travel experience that will immerse guests in memorable moments from Emily in Paris.”
She added: “People want to participate in experiences that bring their favorite brands to life in compelling and innovative ways that extend beyond the screen.”
Emily in Paris costume designer Marylin Fitoussi also added: “You can expect a curation of retailers and designers true to the spirit of my work on the show that will excite, delight, and surprise. “Paris by Emily” will capture the essence of Emily Cooper’s fashionable adventures in Paris.”
Netflix’s Emily in Paris follows the character around the capital as she meanders navigating her dream job, and soaking in the essence of Paris life. Considered of one Netflix’s most viewed series, fans will have the chance to live out their Emily in Paris fantasies as part of the new trip.
