Emily Ratajkowski Subtly Freed the Nipple in a See-Through Lace Sundress

Emily Ratajkowski is putting a casual, warm-weather spin on the naked dress trend. The model looked ready for a hot girl summer on May 29 as she stepped out in New York City in a see-through crochet sundress that subtly freed the nipple. No stranger to turning heads in sheer fashion and figure-hugging looks, EmRata paired the white-hot number with the most unexpected footwear: bright red sneakers, which gave her ‘fit a boost of dopamine.

Just days after returning from a bikini-clad trip to Monaco, the model and mom debuted a softer and more feminine version of her off-duty model style. Ratajkowski wore a plunging white midi-length sundress, which featured an effortless silhouette, dainty spaghetti straps, and intricate crochet detailing offset with sheer panels and cutouts. The My Body author’s dress subtly showed some major skin, thanks to an asymmetrical lacey design on the bodice that extended down to her left hip, a sheer lace panel on the other side, and a large crochet flower on her right hip. The plunging back of her sundress was complemented with strappy detailing and another crochet design that extended down from her hips.

The Gone Girl star accessorized with a stack of warm gold necklaces, matching gold hoop earrings and bangles, and trendy black sunglasses with a bright yellow rim. Her seemingly random bright red suede sneakers, which had a streak of white on the sides, added a pop of color.

EmRata has already unofficially made 2024 her year of wearing sheer dresses, thanks to two internet-breaking see-through gowns she donned at the Met Gala. This barely-there version of the summer sundress hints that she's just getting started.
