Emma D’Arcy Channels Their Inner Dragon in Reptilian Dress Shoes at the UK Premiere of ‘House of the Dragon’ Season Two

Emma D’Arcy channeled their inner dragon while at the UK premiere of “House of the Dragon” season 2 held on Monday in London. Beyond D’Arcy, other “House of the Dragon” alumni in attendance included Matt Smith, Ewan Mitchell, Harry Collett and Fabien Frankel, among others.
Making a striking style statement, D’Arcy sported two-toned dress shoes in black and red. The style was high-shine and featured textured reptilian uppers accompanied by equally textural bright red contrasting suede capped toes. The dressy footwear style also featured lace-up closures and short block heels that offered D’Arcy a subtle boost. The style is preppy and sleek, mirroring the look of the “Truth Seekers” star’s suiting moment. The shoe choice also mirrors the dragon-esque theme of the show, making for smart styling.
Accompanying their footwear, D’Arcy was styled in a half-black half-white suiting moment. The stylistic suit included and oversized blazer and flaired 70s-esque trousers. Beneath the thespian’s blazer, they layered on a black polka-dotted collared button-down tucked into their trousers for a sophisticated look.
D’Arcy’s footwear often features platform soles, giving them a boost of height for any occasion. On the red carpet, the “Misbehaviour” star frequently wears the style in darker materials like leather, hailing from brands including Cavalry, as well as Asics sneakers. Outside of edgy shoes, D’Arcy is also rising as a fashion world star, attending shows for brands including Acne Studios.
Season two of “House of the Dragon” continues the story of the House Targaryen civil war. The show enlists the talents of Matt Smith, Milly Alcock, Olivia Cooke and Emily Carey, just to name a few. The second season of “House of the Dragon” will be available for streaming on Max starting June 16 at 9 p.m. ET. The series is based on and expands upon the happenings of the hit show “Game of Thrones” which ended back in 2019.
