Emmerdale airs Lisa Dingle voice cameo

Emmerdale has aired a vocal cameo from Jane Cox as Lisa Dingle following Tom King's latest outburst towards Belle.
Belle's wedding was far from what she hoped in Thursday's (February 15) double bill, as her new husband once again raged at her while they were supposed to be celebrating. Tom has shown an abusive streak over the last few months, often insulting Belle and even going further by pushing her.
After the couple tied the knot in the latest episode, their reception was interrupted by a huge physical fight between Nate Robinson and Caleb Miligan once the latter's ex-wife Ruby revealed his affair with Tracy.
Tom was not at all happy that a brawl had interrupted his wedding reception, giving a tearful Tracy the cold shoulder when she tried to apologise for the outburst.

Later, Tom complained to Belle during their first dance that the entire day was supposed to be their "moment" as a couple.
When they were finally alone together, Belle told Tom that she wanted to read the letter that her late mum Lisa wrote for her wedding day. He responded with cruelty, telling her she'd been 'banging on' about the letter every time he'd tried to get close to her that day.
Tom unleashed a cruel tirade against the Dingle family, accusing them of cheapening his wedding with their crafty decorations and then turning the venue upside down with a brawl.
"I thought we might just have one day when it was about us, one day where you actually considered putting me first," Tom declared. "But no, you just let your family run roughshod, take over and ruin the entire thing!"
Tom ordered his new bride to sleep downstairs on her own, before storming off to the bedroom by himself. Belle was left broken-hearted as she finally read the letter from her late mum.

Jane Cox made a vocal cameo as Lisa, telling Belle: "I wish I could have met the man you've chosen to marry because he must be quite a fellow. I know you, my bright and beautiful girl, and I know you'll have chosen well. A kind, good man who'll look after you forever now I no longer can. I'll rest easier, knowing you're so happy."
Unfortunately, Belle was left broken and in tears, as she realised her mother's wish had not come true.
This was a special vocal appearance from Jane Cox five years after she departed her role as Lisa Dingle after 23 years on the show. Belle's father Zak Dingle was missing as well, as cast member Steve Halliwell passed away in December.
