Emmerdale airs Tom King's electrocution as he learns Belle's secret

Tom King has been electrocuted in Emmerdale after discovering Belle's secret.
The villain's life hung in the balance in Monday's (June 24) cliffhanger on ITV1 and top streaming service ITVX, as a result of his latest violent outburst.
The explosive scenes followed Tom learning the truth about his wife Belle choosing to have a medical abortion last week.
Belle had decided to secretly terminate the pregnancy because she feared having a child with her abusive husband, though she'd told Tom that she'd had a miscarriage.

In the latest instalment, Belle's mental health counselor Rachel stopped by to check on her. As they talked, Belle confided in the counselor that she'd lied to Tom about terminating her pregnancy.
However, Belle soon started to worry that she'd opened up too much about Tom's controlling behaviour and tried to get Rachel to leave.
"Belle, are you afraid of him?" Rachel asked point blank. "There's no shame in this. If Tom's controlling or punishing you in any way, I can help."
Rachel offered the contact details of a charity, with Belle stunned to realise this was a group for survivors of domestic violence.
Belle remained in denial, insisting that she was the one who had failed Tom with her scattered mindset. Rachel assured Belle she hadn't failed — she was surviving.
"Sometimes we need time apart [from our partners] to get some clarity," Rachel pointed out. "You're vulnerable, and this situation, whatever it is, is affecting your mental health."
Belle finally reached a breakthrough when she agreed with Rachel's suggestion that she go stay with someone she trusts
At the same time, Noah accidentally tipped off Tom that Belle had been lying about the loss of their child.
Noah mentioned that he'd heard Belle went to town when she was supposed to be walking Piper — this was the same period where Belle had gone to the abortion clinic.
Putting the whole timeline together, Tom flew off in a rage. He grabbed a rusty iron bar and started swinging violently at everything in sight.
Tom accidentally bashed the barn's rotary isolator, sending an electric jolt through his body. Paddy managed to find Tom unconscious and had him rushed to hospital.
Meanwhile, Belle was planning to go stay with Debbie Dingle, when Rhona arrived to tell her about Tom's electrocution.
Rhona took Belle to the hospital, where she was told Tom had suffered a high-voltage shock to the heart, along with a fractured ankle and bruising on his back.
"He needs you, Belle," Rhona told her.
At his bedside, Belle was alarmed to see Tom was conscious. He grabbed her hand and then frighteningly insisted he was "still here".
"I am never leaving you," he swore.
The episode closed with Belle putting on a smile to appease Tom while trying to hold back tears…
