Emmerdale confirms a major new Caleb Miligan secret

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has revealed that Caleb Miligan is hiding another secret.

The show's boss warned that Caleb's relationship with his half-brother Cain Dingle could come under threat again if the truth is exposed.

The siblings made peace at the start of the autumn, after previously falling out when Caleb's secret motivation for wanting control of Home Farm was exposed.

Since then, viewers have seen Caleb and Cain team up to bring Aaron Dingle back to the village after learning that he was on a self-destructive path in Italy.

In a new chat with Inside Soap, Shaw commented: "Caleb has a secret that, when everyone sees it, they will know that this is really going to threaten his relationship with Cain.

"If anything is going to test them as brothers, it's if Cain finds out everything at the end of this month."

Caleb and Cain will both be suspects next week when Craig Reed is found dead in mysterious circumstances. However, it's currently unclear whether Caleb's new secret relates to this mystery or something else.

Next week's episodes focus on Lydia Dingle interrogating her loved ones at The Woolpack, convinced that evil Craig was killed by a member of the family.

Shaw recently teased: "In an unmissable special week for Emmerdale, we focus on soap's most-loved family, the Dingles, as Lydia attempts to find out who killed Craig.

"Expertly and innovatively directed by Gary Williams, the infamous Woolpack becomes centre stage for the group of Dingles gathered to reveal their alibis… or no alibi as the case may be!

"Stepping out of the usual Emmerdale style, a series of flashbacks will let the viewers in on the lies each person has told and the secrets they are hiding.

"The week will truly keep everyone on the edge of their seats with each day, as more and more explosive secrets revealed that promise to have huge repercussions, shatter lives and cause fireworks in the Dingles bigger than ever seen before."
