Emmerdale lines up big danger for Chas Dingle in Super Soap Week

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Chas Dingle faces a dangerous situation with gangster Harry in next week's action-packed episodes.

Chas is one of the characters taking centre stage in Super Soap Week – the annual October week where Emmerdale and Coronation Street both air major storyline peaks.

Viewers have recently seen Chas befriend Harry after they met at The Hide. Harry introduced himself as 'Simon', hiding his recent feud with Chas' half-brother Caleb Miligan.

Next week, Chas remains unaware of Harry's true identity as he convinces her to go for a drive with him.

Caleb and Cain Dingle are both shocked when they learn that Harry has just been seen with Chas.

The brothers rush into the village to help, but they're horrified when they realise that they're too late as Chas has already left with Harry.

Cain and Caleb immediately team up with Nate Robinson, launching a desperate mission to find Chas before it's too late.

Out at a remote spot in the country, Chas finally realises that she's in serious trouble as Harry drops his charming act, with his mood switching to pure rage.

What does Harry have planned for Chas and the rest of the Dingle family?

In the build-up to these scenes airing, Tuesday's episode (October 3) sees Chas' ex-husband Paddy become annoyed when he finds Harry at The Woolpack. Harry slept on the sofa after being invited to the pub by Chas in Monday's edition.

Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas, recently explained: "Paddy is not impressed. I found it hard to understand his reaction. I don't know where his reaction is coming from – whether it's jealousy or disgust that she had someone over.

"Her reaction is: 'I'm sorry, you're with Mandy, if I choose to have someone over... nothing happened but even if it did, it's fine'. She takes the keys off him and says he can't just let himself in from now on. She's very defiant and says nothing happened, and it's none of his business anyway."
