Emmerdale star Laura Norton addresses Kerry's mysterious secret
Emmerdale actress Laura Norton has weighed in on Kerry Wyatt's mysterious secret.
Recent scenes saw Kerry return to the Yorkshire Dales, with hints dropped that she may be hiding something from her family. These suspicions were then validated when she was seen stashing stolen cash and jewellery from the cruise she'd been working on.
"All is not what it seems!" Norton told Inside Soap. "She's saying one thing while she's meaning something very different.

"A bit of mischief has jumped in a suitcase from the cruise ship and it's going to follow her around for quite a bit of time. But it's not too heavy, it might make people laugh!" the soap star went on to tease of Kerry's situation.
Norton was also asked about her character's love life going forward, following her previous romances with Dan Spencer and Al Chapman.
"She's causing so much trouble," she said, confirming there's no impending romance storyline. "Kerry is a single pringle and I really like that.

"For me, Kerry's real love story is between her and Amy. They still haven't got it right yet, but through all the bad choices and mistakes she's made I'd love to see these two becoming sisters for a period."
Speaking about her Emmerdale return last month, Norton exclusively told Digital Spy how "amazing" it was to be back on set.
"They've eased me back in very gently. I don't know if it was deliberate, but I've had one day a week, then two days a week, then three. So I feel like they've given me a nice opportunity to settle in," she revealed.
"Every department made it very easy for me – the script, the story, the writing and then the costume," she added. "As soon as you put Kerry's clothes on, it's just like: 'Ah, there she is.'"
