When asked who he gets on best with on set, Lewis said: "I'd probably say Rosie Bentham, because from the beginning and for my first six months we've basically been working together every day."

Despite their history, Lewis said he has high hopes that Nicky and Gabby will eventually become friends, saying: "I think they do get on. The problem is, the circumstances and the manipulation.

"I think it would take a lot for her to forgive Nicky. He's tried the whole excuse of, 'It wasn't me, it was my dad. I was forced' – but she wasn't buying that at all. Maybe Nicky would have to rescue her from drowning or something."
