Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi teases Leyla's response to Jacob and Victoria secret

Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi has shared how she thinks her character Leyla will react to Jacob Gallagher and Victoria Barton revealing their relationship.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media, Roxy said: "I think at the end of the day Leyla is always loyal to [Jacob] and I think it’ll take a cup of tea to forgive him.
"But I don’t think she’ll ever like Victoria..."

But Jacob and Victoria's relationship may not be the only romantic revelation Leyla will have to deal with. She may also eventually find out that her ex Caleb has been having an affair with Tracy.
On how Leyla will react to that revelation, Roxy said: "Leyla can go either way. Because she’s had her fair share of affairs, she may go down the route of being Tracy’s confidante.
"She might be the only person who knows everything and really support her and get her through it.
"I can imagine her doing that - covering up Tracy's lies and all of that kind of stuff. But equally she might just be really jealous that she’s with Caleb! It could go either way. I’m not sure."

When asked if Leyla might still be in love with Caleb, Roxy said: "The thing is with Leyla, whoever she’s with she’s absolutely in love with them. She’s so dramatic so quickly.
"Every relationship she’s ever had, she’s like, ‘I think he’s The One’, when they’ve literally been out for one glass of wine.
"So I think she could quite easily go into a massive jealous rage and really want to win him back.
"Or equally she could not care, because she’s just seen someone else over there. I think when she’s in, she’s in. And that’s it."
