Emmerdale has teased another temporary exit for Christmas following Lydia Dingle's departure.
Last week, Lydia chose to take a break from Wishing Well Cottage for the festive season after discovering that her best friend Kim Tate had lied over her horse killing Craig Reed.
While Lydia has since made a cameo via a video call, Tuesday's Emmerdale episode hinted that Jacob Gallagher and Victoria Sugden may be apart this Christmas as well.
The difficult situation developed after Jacob promised Victoria that he'd talk to his family about their romance so they could all spend Christmas together.

However, when he saw how fragile his grandfather Eric Pollard was feeling following his recent Parkinson's Disease diagnosis, he stopped short of telling the truth.
Jacob was doubly self-conscious when he found out that mum Leyla Cavanagh had invited Eric and his partner Brenda Walker to spend Christmas with their family.
Later, Victoria was disappointed to find out that Jacob still hadn't told his family about their relationship.
"I just want them to accept us," Jacob explained to her. "The timing has to be right."

Victoria reluctantly wondered whether it was best to wait until after Christmas to reveal the truth and was hurt when Jacob agreed with her.
"Come the New Year, we're taking no prisons. We're together, and they can either like it or lump it," Jacob promised.
Victoria decided it might be easier for her to take some time away from the village since she had plenty of holiday time available.
"Work can get agency cover and I'll go see Diane in Portugal," Victoria announced.
When Jacob sensed that Victoria may be angry with him, she explained: "I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed for us both. But hey, at least I'll make Diane's Christmas."
As Victoria walked off, Jacob frowned over the obvious complexities of his new love. Will Jacob change his mind about spending the holidays apart?
