Emmerdale tension grows in Charles and Victor storyline
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
The tension is set to grow between Emmerdale's Charles Anderson and his father Victor.
The village vicar was recently rocked by the arrival of his dad, who has just been released from a stint in prison.
Since his release, Victor has been trying to make amends with Charles and his estranged wife Claudette, with Charles reluctant to give his dad another chance.

In upcoming scenes, the Andersons prepare for a visit from Victor's Probation Officer at Woodbine. While the dynamic between him and his father grows increasingly strained, Charles puts on a brave face.
But things get worse when Victor behaves dramatically and exaggerates his illness in front of the Probation Officer, who seems to believe every word Victor says.
The next day, Charles sees Claudette pandering to Victor in Woodbine. This irritates him, but Manpreet steps in and convinces Charles to keep a cool head.

Victor gets a kick out of provoking his son and begins spending more time with Claudette, which concerns Charles.
Later, Charles meets with Manpreet at the Café and expresses his worries about the situation.
The next day, Claudette tells Charles she's planning a romantic meal for Victor and asks him to keep out of the way.
Earlier this month, Kevin Mathurin, who plays Charles, spoke to Digital Spy about the storyline between his character and Victor.

"I am very excited — extremely excited," he said. "It just brings out other dynamics and parts of Charles that the viewers haven't seen over the last couple of years.
"Charles is quite friendly and quite family-orientated — he loves his work. But you're going to bring a side out of him with people that he doesn't get on with.
"[It's] less of the religious Charles and more of the real person Charles, which is great."
