Emmerdale tonight: Will Chas’s affair finally be revealed?
The walls are closing in on cheating Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) in Emmerdale. The ITV soap airs an hour-long instalment tonight from 7.30pm, and you won’t want to miss a moment.
Chas began seeing Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) earlier this year, using the strain of mum Faith’s (Sally Dexter) terminal cancer as an excuse to play away behind husband Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) back. Then, as she was selfishly planning a new life with Al, he was shot to death by Chas’s young nephew Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn).

Chas’s brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) had lured Al to the barn after discovering the affair, and has kept quiet over the circumstances while taking the blame for Al’s death.
But the locals soon learned what Al had been up to, and speculation was rife over the identity of his lover. This week, Chas’s cousin Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper) realised that she had never stopped seeing Al, having been in bed with him the day Faith died.
She dealt Chas some home truths, and was distraught when she guessed that this was why Cain had ‘killed’ Al. Belle contemplated telling Paddy the truth, and ended up confiding in sister-in-law Moira (Natalie J Robb), who was furious that Chas’s actions had led to her family imploding.
As Emmerdale continues tonight, Chas is happy to be getting away from it all, as Paddy has booked them a trip away. But are all her lies about to be exposed?
Viewers have been waiting for the bar manager to get her comeuppance after she manipulated son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) as well as Al’s girlfriend Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), into leaving the village - all to save her own skin.

Speaking out on how she thinks Paddy will feel when he learns the truth, star Pargeter says: “Paddy would be totally and utterly devastated. I don't know if he could ever get over it but it would be interesting to see how he would react and whether he would react in the way people would think he would.”
Pargeter adds that the audience’s response to this storyline has been stronger than for any other plot she’s undertaken throughout her 20 years on Emmerdale.
“They are absolutely furious with her,” she explains. “In fact with all the storylines I’ve ever played I have never had a response like this. They are furious and the vigour and the anger they have is strong. They are cross; she has betrayed her marriage. But I do understand their reaction.”

Asked whether Chas is worried about her future when she and Paddy head away from the village, the actor replies: “No, she's just optimistic for their trip away.”
Is Chas right to feel so content, or is she about to find herself out in the cold? A dramatic episode is on the way...
Chas’s story continues in Emmerdale at 7.30pm tonight on ITV.
