Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle makes a big decision over mum Chas

Aaron Dingle has made a big decision following his mum Chas's cancer diagnosis in Emmerdale.
Earlier this week, Aaron walked out of a Dingle family meeting where Chas revealed to her loved ones that she had been diagnosed with the same kind of breast cancer that her mum Faith had.
In Tuesday's (January 30) episode, Aaron decided it was best for him to walk away from his family following their recent feud and started preparing to leave the village again.
Mackenzie Boyd worried his partner-in-crime was making a massive mistake, so he tried to convince him not to run away from his problems.

"I need to get out of this place," Aaron insisted. "Whether that's a taxi, a train, a bus, whatever it is, the quickest thing to get me out of here so just turn yourself around and go home."
Mackenzie refused to back down, vowing that he would follow Aaron wherever he went in order to make him see sense.
"There is one person stopping you from being the person you want to be, and that's you," Mack told him. "I don't know, mate, it's like you're fighting with yourself."
Mackenzie compared the situation to his own recent choice to give up Reuben, warning Aaron that if he walked away, he'd be the one to lose out.
"That feeling of loss, Aaron, that never goes," Mack explained.
Aaron finally broke down, admitting to Mackenzie that he'd lashed out because of the death of his sister Liv. When Aaron said he wished he'd had "a little more time" with Liv, Mack pointed out he has a similar chance now with Chas.
Aaron confessed that he'd been "putting on an act" since he was back in the village, pretending not to care for anyone. He acknowledged that he couldn't live that way anymore.
At the pub, Chas had a heart-to-heart with Charity where she admitted her disappointment that Aaron seemingly didn't care about her diagnosis.

"It's pretty obvious that he's not bothered if I live or if I die," Chas said.
Charity assured her that regardless of Aaron's behaviour, Chas will have "so much support" from her family as she goes through her treatment. Charity also promised Chas that Aaron would be back — and she was proven correct when he suddenly arrived back at the pub to talk things through with Chas.
Both were in floods of tears as they hugged, with Chas telling her son: "Oh, I love you."
With mother and son reunited, Chas is soon set to take a temporary break from the village before starting her cancer treatment.
