Emmerdale's Cain and Aaron remain at odds despite Chas breakthrough

Emmerdale has aired a tense conversation between Aaron and Cain Dingle as they continue their feud.
Aaron has found himself at odds with the rest of his family over the past few months, which culminated with his violent attack on Cain last week after Aaron was caught trying to steal a client's car.
Earlier this week, things came to a head once again as Aaron decided to walk away from the Dingles during a dramatic family meeting at The Woolpack after Chas revealed her breast cancer diagnosis to everyone.
Tonight's (January 31) episode saw Aaron remain at odds with his uncle despite being able to patch things up with Chas after changing his mind and choosing to stay in the village.

Chas visited Aaron after the pair's heart-to-heart in the pub the previous evening to make sure he hadn't changed his mind and fled the village in the night.
Confused about his mum's sudden change in behaviour toward him, Aaron confessed that he was waiting for Chas to "get mad" at him again.
"I'm not mad, I promise," Chas reassured him. "All I care about is that you're here."
However, despite being able to patch things up with his mother, Aaron remained on frosty terms with his uncle after their vicious fight — with Cain later issuing a warning to his nephew after learning of his plan to stick around.

"We both know you don't want me here," Aaron said as the two met in the village for the first time since Aaron stormed out of the pub.
"Why do you assume I give a stuff about what you do anymore? You're not worth my energy," Cain replied, adding: "That's unless you anything to hurt your mother — in which case, you better start running."
Will the pair be able to put their differences aside to support Chas?
