Emmerdale's Caleb and Tracy interrupted as their affair continues

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan and Tracy Robinson take more risks as their affair plot continues in Monday's episode (December 4).

The pair make the most of an empty house when Caleb finds himself alone at Mill Cottage for the afternoon.

Caleb isn't expecting anyone home as he believes that his son Nicky is busy at the hospital, where Nicky's boyfriend Suni Sharma is recovering after a homophobic attack.

Caleb and Tracy are unable to resist temptation as they give into their attraction for each other.

However, just when they're in the throes of passion, they have to spring apart as Nicky returns home unexpectedly.

For now, Nicky doesn't realise that anything is going on between Caleb and Tracy, but could this suspicious moment be the first clue that ultimately leads to him figuring it out?

Emmerdale bosses have previously confirmed that Caleb and Tracy will be caught out by at least one of the villagers in the coming weeks.

Show producer Laura Shaw recently explained: "We've started Tracy and Caleb's dangerous affair. We'll see a bit more of that in the run-up to Christmas.

"What we'll see is the most awkward Christmas dinner ever, where those lot are all sat round the table at the Dingles' together.

"Somebody on Christmas Day is going to find out their dark secret and threaten to blow that."

Emmerdale's affair plot began in flashback scenes in October, as Tracy and Caleb were seen kissing passionately.

Tracy is cheating on her husband Nate, with her betrayal threatening to hit close to home as Caleb is his uncle.

Will Ash, who plays Caleb, recently told us: "He does feel bad on Nate, because Nate is his nephew and one of his business partners. Caleb does like Nate – he's not trying to get one over on him. He is being pretty snide and it's abhorrent what he's doing, and he wrestles with that a lot.

"Caleb also needs to consider the cost of it, because this could ruin his relationship with Cain. He knows that it's a dangerous game he's playing, but he can't help himself. There's a self-destructive quality to him which plays into this storyline. He feels bad about Nate – but not bad enough to stop doing it!"

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
