Emmerdale's Jacob and Victoria announce relationship in 2024 scenes

Emmerdale has confirmed that Jacob Gallagher and Victoria Barton will finally reveal the truth about their secret relationship in the New Year.
Jacob has been putting off telling his family that he and Victoria are now an item, but he explains everything in early January.
Once Christmas and New Year are over, Gabby Thomas sets the ball rolling when she gets the wrong end of the stick over what Jacob is hiding.
A vague conversation with Jacob leads to Gabby mistakenly assuming that he has feelings for her.

Gabby becomes determined to set Jacob straight so he knows that he doesn't have a chance with her. However, when Gabby does, Jacob clarifies that he's already in a relationship with Victoria.
With the truth now starting to come out, the pressure is on for Jacob and Victoria to tell Leyla Cavanagh and Eric Pollard before somebody else does.
After discussing how to break the news, they arrange a meeting with Leyla and Eric at The Woolpack.
Jacob and Victoria explain that they've been seeing each other for weeks. Gail Loman overhears the revelation and is shocked over the news.

The most awkward moment comes when Jacob and Victoria confirm that David already knew the truth and this is the reason he left the village so suddenly.
